Make a request
Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”. Include the product or interaction involved, the email address you used and the action you want us to take. Do not send identity documents unless we request them.
Access and correction
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it. You may also ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, irrelevant or misleading.
Deletion
You may ask us to delete personal information we no longer require. We may retain information where it remains necessary for security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, record-keeping or a legal obligation.
Consent and direct marketing
Where our handling depends on your consent, you may withdraw that consent for future handling. You may also ask us not to use your information for direct marketing.
Product accounts
Where a product offers an account, its privacy notice explains the controls and deletion process available for that product.
Verifying a request
We may request proportionate information to confirm your identity or authority to act for another person. We will not request more information than reasonably necessary.
Our response
We will acknowledge your request and respond within a reasonable period. If we need more information or additional time, we will let you know. Where a request cannot be fulfilled, we will explain why.
Complaints
Describe what happened, when it happened, the product or interaction involved and the outcome you are seeking. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable period. Where the Privacy Act applies, an unresolved complaint may also be referred to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
